New research group on Huntington's Disease (HD): Gabriele Schilling
Huntington's disease (HD) occurs when the polyglutamine repeat in the huntingtin gene is abnormaly expanded. G. Schilling investigates the molecular mechanism which lead to processing of the huntingtin protein, and their correlation with neurological defects in HD.
