New junior research group on Neuroendocrinology: Heike Heuer
Thyroid hormones (TH) are essential for proper brain development. H. Heuer is analyzing the biochemical and molecular basis of TH transport and TH effects on neuronal cells with respect to neurodegenerative diseases.
