New research group on virus-induced tumorigenesis: Aspasia Ploubidou
The group will work on elucidating mechanisms of transformation and tumorigenesis by DNA tumorviruses such as vaccinia and papilloma viruses. More specifically, the use and abuse of the host cell's cytoskeleton in viral infection and pathogenicity is adressed.
