FLI retreat on 'Development, inflammation and cancer'
organised by: C. Englert & H. Lekscha (FLI)
The second retreat of the FLI was held again at the Landessportschule Bad Blankenburg. Among the 154 participating FLI scientists, 16 scientists presented highlights and perspectives of their research on the ageing-relevant topics 'development', 'inflammation' and 'cancer' in oral presentations.
Among 81 poster presentations, 6 poster prizes were awarded to FLI Post-Docs and PhD students.
Invited key note lectures on the topics were held by the distinguished scientists
Hans-Reimer Rodewald (Institute for Immunology, Ulm University) and Martin Eilers (Institute for Molecular Biology & Tumor Research, University Marburg).
