Leibniz-Forum concerning research on brain functions and learning abilities, Magdeburg
Scientists of the Leibniz institutes explore our 'central organ' and its functionality. They explore structures, develop learning methods and search for therapies for brain diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.
Renowned experts, among them brain scientists, stem cell experts and education experts from Leibniz Institutes, attended the first Leibniz forum in Magdeburg. The experts reported on their work and the latest projects. The participating institutes, among them the FLI represented by M. Fändrich, presented examples of their scientific work in a small exhibition.
